Responsibilities

  • Define the embedded validation approach for assigned domain(s), including:
    • MIL (Model-in-the-Loop)
    • SIL (Software-in-the-Loop)
    • HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop)
    • Unit & integration testing)
    • Virtual validation
  • Evaluate and determine the appropriate validation level required for each activity
  • Create and maintain key validation documentation:
    • Verification Plan
    • Verification Specification
    • Verification Reports (including MIL tests, BSW unit tests, HIL, electronic & supplier tests, e-dyno, and vehicle-level testing)
  • Ensure the execution of validation activities aligned with the extended product design validation test plan, meeting all agreed milestones
  • Review and sign off validation results for the assigned domain(s) at SOP (Start of Production) and other key milestones
  • Translate abstract testing requirements into concrete and actionable test requests
  • Prepare, coordinate, and perform data analysis and reporting for development tests
  • Coordinate and reserve test environments, collaborating closely with software, hardware, suppliers, and test leads
  • Build and maintain knowledge of testing facilities across Europe
  • Support the wider organization by providing practical expertise, including work instructions for specific technical cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve roadblocks

Qualifications

  • Master in Automotive, EE, Mechatronics or equivalent, 5+ years automotive experience
  • Strong embedded SW/HW validation experience (ECU, sensors, actuators).
  • Experience with Hybrid Powertrains and Automatic Transmission is an advantage
  •  Experience in technically leading a team

Essential skills

  • Familiar with: ISO 26262, ASPICE, UDS, XCP; tools: VECTOR CANape/CANalyzer, INCA, MATLAB/Simulink, HIL
    frameworks
