• Define the production process flow from incoming to outgoing for both internal and external operations if necessary,
• Define with the methods, with the quality department and with the production department each step of production, the necessary industrial equipment’s, tools and tooling,
• Define the layout for equipment’s,
• Lead the equipment’s installation until the full quality / cost / delay level is met and ensure a hand over to the production department.
• Implement and optimize best practices of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies,
• Support the production for trouble shooting, quality issues solving and efficiency improvements,
• Stay in a continuous improvement mind-set, define and drives improvement plans,
• Is involved in the application of engineering changes

• Master's degree in mechanical / electro-mechanical / electronics / manufacturing engineering
• A first background in industry (manufacturing / assembling) is a plus
• Mecatronic / PLC knowledge
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 principles, and digital transformation strategies is a strong asset
• Fluency in English and knowledge of a local language (FR OR NL) is a must
