• Develop system-level requirements and architecture for EDCT hybrid transmission systems.
• Define functional interfaces between engine, e-motor, inverter, clutch actuators, gearbox, TCU, and vehicle controller.
• Support control strategy definition for shift logic, clutch actuation, torque blending, and hybrid energy flow.
• Ensure alignment between mechanical design, hydraulics, electronics, and software teams.
• Drive calibration and validation planning for drivability, shift quality, NVH, efficiency, and durability.
• Contribute to safety analysis (ISO 26262), including system hazards, safety goals, and diagnostics for EDCT functions.
• Support test campaigns (bench, dyno, vehicle) and lead resolution of system-level issues.
• Coordinate requirements and deliverables with suppliers and internal development teams.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in transmission, hybrid powertrain, or drivetrain systems.
• Strong understanding of DCT architecture, clutch systems, gearsets, hydraulics, and actuation.
• Knowledge of hybrid/EDCT operation: torque split, launch control, shift coordination, regeneration blending.
• Familiarity with CAN/LIN, diagnostics (UDS), and requirements tools (DOORS/Polarion).
• Experience with automotive validation methods and V-model development.
• Knowledge of TCU/VCU control strategies and shift control algorithms.
• Experience with SIL/HIL testing, dyno testing, or hybrid system calibration.
• Exposure to NVH assessment and thermal management of transmission systems.
• Understanding of ASPICE, ISO 26262, and automotive release processes.
• Experience in working with Tier-1 transmission or hybrid system suppliers.
