The Industrial Supplier Quality will report to the Suppliers Quality & Performance Leader and work in cross-functional support with the Industrial Quality Leaders. And will work in close collaboration with the industrial quality control team and the other operational departments of the company.

Ensure the quality of suppliers from upstream (supplier selection phase) to downstream (performance evaluation), with the objectives of:

• Strengthen the involvement of quality in the supplier selection phases
• Reducing non-quality among suppliers
• Ensuring better control of supplier risks
• Improve the management of our suppliers

Supplier quality requirements:

• Establish as an integrated team with the Methods, Product Design Authority and Purchase, the technical specifications and quality requirements of purchasing for suppliers

Selection of suppliers from a quality point of view:

• Conduct supplier audits in accordance with the year's plan and forecasts
• Deploy EGAPE requirements to identified vendors
• Ensure supplier validation and qualification through Supplier Site Approval (SSA) and Supplier Process/Production Qualification (SPPQ)
• Participate in the upstream supplier selection process (Pvet) in connection with Purchasing by providing a summary of our knowledge of suppliers, identifying any risks and proposing risk mitigation actions
• Maintain a summary of the supplier risks of GCC's major products shared with Procurement

Supplier quality improvement:

• Carry out actions to improve supplier maturity through action plans
• Carry out internal improvement actions to improve the operation with suppliers

Supplier quality performance:

• Lead targeted improvement projects in support of the Supplier Performance Manager (SPM)
• Work closely with the SPM in the analysis of performance data to deploy actions towards suppliers
• Measure and reduce supplier non-quality costs
• Contribute to the achievement of the "On-Conformity Delivery Supplier" (OCD-S) and "On Time Delivery Supplier" (OTD-S) performance objectives

Supplier Quality Interface:

• Capture supplier issues, take them into account and communicate on the actions taken
• Be able to communicate supplier risks internally (Processes, Resources, Infrastructures)
• Actively participate in the analysis of customer complaints resulting from supplier problems
• Perform root cause analyses and follow-up corrective actions with suppliers
• Participate in the establishment and implementation of the audit and follow-up plan for critical suppliers as part of an integrated team with the SPM, industrial quality managers and purchasing
• Participate in the internal maturity assessment plan), as well as ensure the follow-up and closure of the corrective actions assigned

Training & Experiences

• Engineer by training, electronic and/or electromechanical orientation
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial quality function suppliers
• Fluency in French and English (professional ability required, oral and written communication)

Skills & Abilities Required

• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
• Good ability in writing technical documentsAbility to work in multidisciplinary teams and independently
• Be an actor in the creation of a real team spirit
• Proactive, committed and enthusiastic
• Rigorous, methodical and organized
• Travel in Belgium and abroad as part of the function (50% of the time)

• Fluent in French and English
• Must have experience in Supplier Quality in engineering acitvities
• Must be willing to travel and work on-site
