The job as a Reactivity Engineer

• Act as the primary technical contact for urgent quality or production issues from manufacturing, suppliers, or customers.

• Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) on vehicle systems/components (e.g., powertrain, electronics, chassis, body).

• Lead and coordinate containment and corrective actions (short- and mid-term solutions).

• Collaborate with design, testing, and quality teams to provide feedback for design improvements.

• Interface with suppliers to validate component-related failures and implement fixes.

• Support the "Stop the Line" process and drive resolution to enable safe production restart.

• Maintain detailed incident logs and prepare technical reports for management and quality audits.

• Actively participate in cross-functional crisis teams when needed.

• Contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

 What are our key selection criteria for joining Expleo system engineering Team?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electronics, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a fast-paced automotive environment (OEM or Tier 1 preferred).

• Strong knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics tools (e.g., CAN, OBD, vehicle diagnostics).

• Experience with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys, FMEA).

• Familiarity with quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and production environments.

• Excellent communication skills in English (French or Dutch is a plus).

• Flexible, proactive, and capable of handling high-pressure situations
