Overview

Expleo Belgium is seeking an accomplished and visionary Head of Sales to lead our go-to-market strategy and drive business growth across the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) and Energy & Utilities sectors. This is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing sales strategies, managing high-performing teams, nurturing executive-level client relationships, and expanding market share in two of our most strategically significant industry verticals.

This role requires a deep understanding of industry dynamics, a strong network of senior contacts, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles involving both technology and services.

 

As Head of Sales, your mission in a nutshell will be

  • Design and execute a world-class sales strategy to fuel growth.
  • Optimize and restructure our sales funnel to maximize efficiency.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to align sales with our broader vision.

 

As Head of Sales, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives for the BFSI and Energy & Utilities verticals.
  • Identify market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging client needs to shape and refine the go-to-market approach.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of sales executives and account managers across multiple regions.
  • Own vertical-specific sales forecasts, pipeline health, and revenue targets with full accountability.
  • Build and maintain C-level relationships within target accounts and industry ecosystems.
  • Drive new business acquisition and strategic account expansion, focusing on large enterprise clients and long-term value creation.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, forums, and client engagements to enhance brand presence and thought leadership.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Finance for deal structuring, risk assessment, and compliance alignment.
  • Provide strategic input into product development roadmaps and innovation pipelines based on market feedback.
  • Monitor KPIs across revenue generation, customer acquisition, client retention, and team performance.
  • Deliver accurate, data-driven reporting to executive leadership on pipeline status, market intelligence, and revenue forecasts.
  • Continuously optimize sales processes, tools, and methodologies to improve efficiency and impact.

Could you be the one?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or relevant field
  • 8+ years of experience in enterprise B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within BFSI or Energy & Utilities sectors,with a proven track record of scaling a sales team and revenue.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding multi-million-dollar sales targets across multiple geographies.
  • In-depth understanding of the regulatory landscape, technology trends, and operational challenges in BFSI and Energy & Utilities.
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities with a focus on coaching, collaboration, and performance.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles and long-term client engagements.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred), and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong command of English and mandatory one of the local languages French or Dutch at native level;
